Oranga Tamariki, Ministry for Children, is responsible for the well-being of children in New Zealand, specifically children at risk of harm, youth offenders and children of the State. They wanted to make a logo for one of their sports teams they were starting for Children within their youth justice residence, Korowai Manaaki. They knew their team name was going to be the Korowai Manaaki Panthers and wanted to include some Pacific & Maori designs within the logo.
