For this first-year project we were to create a deck of cards that would be used for play. Using play design elements to create them, like design pillars, play-testing and more. Design wise it was left up to our own interpretation. For my group we can up with WebSurfer, seen below in its final card form.
Gameplay wise we went through multiple testing phases and game options, like in our final game the "Hacked" mode which added some extra speciality game cards that changed the way it was played.
Design wise, I believed we had room for development and growth as we had spent most of the time developing the gameplay. So I choose to work on the design styling of the game as a secondary vernissage project. Leading me to go through many design phases, as seen below, to a new final card design, box design and website tie in.
